CNMC fines five operators for numbering breaches

Spain's communications and competition regulator CNMC has fined the operators Orange, Dialoga, Opera, Freedompop and Parlem Telecom a total of EUR 164,000 for a series of breaches of numbering rules. The regulator said it fined Orange EUR 22,000 for failing to sufficiently control the use of mobile numbering and allowing Opera and Dialoga to flout the rules between June 2014 and March 2017. Opera and Dialoga were fined EUR 21,000 and EUR 76,000 respectively while Freedompop and Parlem were fined EUR 15,000 and EUR 30,000 for failing to meet the conditions for the award and allocation of
