Spain's telecoms regulator CNMC has announced an investigation into Telefonica's alleged breach of successive orders to revise the conditions of its provision of wholesale broadband access between 2010 and 2013. The former incumbent operator was accused by Jazztel and BT of having failed to implement the regulator's orders regarding the conditions of line rental to connect the backbone network to business customers and mobile base stations. The investigation is expected to last a maximum of 12 months.
