CNMC to probe Telefonica's conduct during installers' strike

Spain's communications regulator CNMC has announced the launch of an investigation into Telefonica's conduct during last year's strike by its subcontracted installers. The watchdog said there was sufficient evidence that the former incumbent had discriminated against its rivals during the installers' strike, which ran from March to June 2015. As the dominant player in the wholesale broadband market, Telefonica is required to provide third parties with the same quality and delivery of service as it provides itself but evidence suggested that the company had prioritised its own customers over
