CNT launches DTH service in Ecuador
Ecuadorian state-owned operator CNT has launched its DTH satellite TV services. CNT reports that initial investments in the project amounted to USD 5 million, with future investment contingent on the growth of the user base. CNT's pay-TV service is available for monthly fees of USD 8 for the basic package with 15 channels, and USD 15 for the Super Plan package with 45 video channels and 10 audio channels. CNT plans to soon launch a quadruple-play offering that will include satellite TV, broadband connection
