Cofino named Intelsat LatAm and Caribbean VP

Satellite communications provider Intelsat has announced the appointment of Juan Pablo Cofino as its new regional vice president for Latin America and the Caribbean. In a statement the company said Cofino will be tasked with the development and implementation of Intelsat's sales and regional go-to-market strategies for the company's broadband, mobility, media and government customers operating in the region. He was previously president, Caribbean & Latin America, for ATN International and has also held sales and business unit management positions at Milicom (Tigo) and Grupo
