Com Hem uses PacketFront platform for FTTH roll-out

Swedish operator Com Hem awarded a contract to PacketFront Software to use its BECS Network Management System to automate its access FTTH network roll-out which will take place in the next coming years. PacketFront Software's product has been selected after a tender process. The delivery includes BECS's Plan and build tool for network documentation, resource management, configuration assurance and software management. BECS also enables zero-touch configuration of network elements in Com Hem's multi-vendor environment. This means out-of-the-box element deployment and automated configuration
