Comcast licenses CloudTV Platform of ActiveVideo

US cable company Comcast has licensed CloudTV H5 platform, the advanced TV software of cloud-based interactive services provider ActiveVideo Networks. Comcast is using this platform in an enhanced VoD user experience trial in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The CloudTV H5 platform utilises HTML5 browser technology running in remote servers to execute and render complete user experiences in the cloud.
