Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands joins FirstNet

The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands' Governor Ralph Deleon Guerrero Torres accepted the First Responder Network Authority and AT&T's plan to deliver a wireless broadband network to the territory's public safety community. FirstNet will bring advanced tools that will help the Northern Mariana Islands' first responders save lives and protect communities. AT&T is in charge of providing the nationwide mobile broadband network for first responders in the US after securing the corresponding 25-year contract.
