CommScope halves net loss in Q2 as sales grow 4%, EBITDA up 10%

CommScope halved its net loss in the second quarter to USD 154 million as the company moved ahead with its restructuring plans and a spin-off of its CPE business. Net sales for the period rose 3.9 percent year-on-year to USD 2.19 billion, and the core business, excluding the Home Networks unit, posted sales up 17.8 percent thanks to growth in broadband and campus networks.
