CommScope lowers FY guidance on lower prices in NAmerica

CommScope has lowered its guidance for the full year on the bank of price reductions at certain large North American operators expected this year and next, plus higher input costs. The company said it was taking action to mitigate these customer price changes through more cost reduction initiatives. The company kept its revenue forecast at USD 4.675-4.825 billion, but lowered expectations for its operating profit to USD 545-590 million from 615-660 million, and for EPS to USD 1.20-1.32 from 1.46-1.58.
