Commscope sees higher adjusted EPS in Q2 with Arris after lower Q1

CommScope said revenues for the first quarter fell 1.9 percent from the year before to USD 1.10 billion, with growth in the US offset by lower sales in EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. Sales did benefit from the continued rollout of 4G networks but this was offset by a decline in Indoor Copper and a negative forex effect of 2 percent. The operating profit fell 12.6 percent to USD 90.7 million but the adjusted operating profit, excluding amortisation, integration and transaction costs, increased 1.1 percent to USD 190.7 million.
