Competition authority approves Completel DSL network sale to Kosc

Wednesday 23 December 2015 | 08:41 CET | News
France's Competition Authority has approved the Kosc consortium's acquisition of business operator Completel's DSL network. Completel is a subsidiary of Numericable, which Altice bought from Vivendi in 2014. The disposal of Completel's DSL network was one of the conditions set by the authority for the purchase to be authorised. Kosc takes its name from the first letter of its backers' names, Kapix, OVH, Styx and Cofip. Les Echos adds that the first offers will be announced along with a new brand in early 2016.
