Competition authority lifts regulatory restrictions imposed on SFR-Numericable in 2014

The French competition authority decided not to renew the measures put in place in 2014 as conditions for the approval of the SFR-Numericable merger. The watchdog, however, has kept specific obligations linked to the so-called 'Faber' agreement between SFR and Bouygues Telecom, which were imposed in 2017 alongside a EUR 40 million fine inflicted on SFR for breach of contract.
