Competition body needs more time for Tele2 Norway sale probe

Tuesday 9 September 2014 | 13:02 CET | News
The Norwegian Competition Authority needs more time to make a decision about TeliaSonera's acquisition of Tele2 Norway, Dagens Naeringsliv said, citing the authority. The authority needs to look at whether the merger would limit competition. It has 70 days from notification of the deal, which gives a deadline of 11 November, according to the authority's website.
