Comtrend picks Ikanos processor for LTE gateway platform

Broadband semiconductor provider Ikanos Communications has announced its first LTE gateway design win for the recently introduced Fusiv Vx575 chipset. Networking services provider Comtrend has selected the Fusiv Vx575 processor for its LTE gateway platform. Powered by the Ikanos Vx575 family processors, the Comtrend residential gateway supports Category 7 LTE data rates, reaching up to an aggregate rate of 400Mbps.
