Con Edison selects Ericsson to manage New York network

Ericsson has been selected by Consolidated Edison Company of New York (Con Edison) to provide managed services for its private Integrated Digital Enhanced Network (iDEN). Con Edison is a regulated utility providing electric, gas and steam service in New York City and Westchester County, New York. The iDEN network is used for internal dispatch of Con Edison technicians serving more than 3.3 million electric and 1.1 million gas customers.
