Consumer body slams end of Nkom price comparison site

The Norwegian consumer council said electronic communications regulator Nkom's decision not to continue its price comparison site, telepriser.no, is both surprising and disappointing. The watchdog said late last year that it would instead give accreditation to private portals that fufilled certain criteria. Consumer council director Randi Flesland said users and operators alike in the broadband and mobile markets need an objective service, and this will disappear with telepriser's closure.
