Consumers don't trust IoT device security - study

The large majority of consumers, 90 percent, don't trust the security of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, according to a survey by Gemalto. This comes as more than two-thirds of consumers and almost 80 percent of organisations support governments getting involved in setting IoT security. Hackers taking control of their device is what most people fear the most, namely two-thirds of them.
