Consumers union starts campaign to improve online privacy practices

Dutch consumers are doing little to protect themselves online, with few using applications for computers and mobile devices to block tracking and data collection, a survey by the Consumentenbond found. The research is part of its public campaign to raise awareness about personal data protection, under the tagline 'Baas over eigen data' ('Boss of your own data').
