Cook suggests Apple might adopt more open strategy

Apple CEO Tim Cook has suggested that the company might relax its technology strategy by adopting a more open stance with other companies wanting to use its mobile devices to reach customers, reports the Financial Times. Speaking at the D11 technology conference in Southern California, Cook said that Apple would be more open in the future as it looked to counter the threat from Android, but stressed that it would not risk a bad customer experience. He did not give details about how Apple might achieve this.
