Coolpad becomes top local 3G handset vendor in China

Chinese handset vendor Coolpad has overtaken Lenovo, becoming the number one local 3G handset brand in China, The Digitimes reports citing industry chain sources. Coolpad's sales are driven by CNY 1,000 smartphones that have high-end features.
