Cosmote holds first 5G network live demo in Greece

Cosmote said it organised the first 5G network live demonstration in Greece along with Nokia. Cosmote achieved speeds of up to 4.5Gbps and gave the audience the opportunity to live the 5G experience through VR applications. Cosmote's stand visitors, at InfoCom World conference, had the opportunity to live the top 5G experience by watching 360° video streaming through a VR headset of high speed, top quality and reliability, with no interruption. The 3.5GHz range and the 5G technology capabilities were used during the demonstration.
