Costa Rica's telecommunications regulator Sutel has launched a public consultation to ascertain industry views on a future tender of 5G-compatible frequencies, reports El Financiero. The watchdog is considering the possibility of auctioning frequencies in the 700MHz, 2.3GHz, 3.3GHz-3.4GHz, 26GHz and 28GHz bands as a first step, while other bands including 2.6GHz and 3.5GHz may also be made available.
