Court dismisses UFC's 'unlimited' ad suit against SFR

A Paris court rejected French consumer association UFC-Que Choisir's lawsuit against mobile and broadband operator SFR, accused of using misleading advertising about its mobile internet subscriptions in 2009 and 2010. As it dismissed the case, the court would did not comment on validity of the arguments. UFC sued SFR in September 2010 for using the word 'unlimited' to describe what were essentially limited services. Small print information must be made larger, as readable by location and in a proportional font as the world 'unlimited', UFC contended. The court merely stated that the facts
