Court orders KPN to hand over information to regulator

The Dutch corporate appeals court (CBb) has rejected a request from KPN for a preliminary injunction. Dutch regulator ACM issued an order 31 January threatening KPN with sanctions if it did not hand over certain names and information to the regulator. KPN suspects these would be used in an investigation. It agreed to provide the names, but not a written confirmation. The court found that this was not sufficient just to show the names to the ACM, as the Telecommunications Act as well as general administrative law allows the regulator to demand the written information.
