Court rejects DeTe shareholders claim about 2000 prospectus
The higher regional court in Frankfurt has rejected the claim of around 17,000 Deutsche Telekom shareholders that accused the operator of providing false information in the prospectus for the third public offering of Telekom shares in 2000, according to German press agency Dpa. The lawsuit was launched in 2001 and has been under review at the higher state court since 2008. The court found on 16 May of this year that no large mistakes were made in the prospectus leaving the shareholders without success. It is certain that the suit will be brought to the Federal Court for revision.
