Covage signs fibre network contract under AMEL rules in Saone-et-Loire department

French operator Covage has signed an agreement with local authorities to bring FTTP connectivity to approximately 100,000 rural premises in the Saone-et-Loire department. The roll-out work will be funded by private investment without the need for public subsidies. Completion is scheduled by 2023 across the 250 municipalities covered by the open-access network.
