CryptoGuard taps SMIT to launch Cardless CAM

Hong Kong-based CAM supplier Smit partnered with provider of content protection CryptoGuard to launch the first CryptoGuard Cardless CAM (conditional access module). The CAM device, based on SMIT latest chipset, integrates with CryptoGuard cardless platform. With the launch of the CryptoGuard cardless CAMs, the operators can reduce the cost of deploying CAMs and provide a Plug-and-play simple platform for market. Following the latest CI Plus 1.4 and ECP technology, the 4K service is available in the CAM which is embedded with the CryptoGuard highest security platform.
