CSG Ascendon powers Media-Saturn's 'Juke!' portal
CSG International's CSG Ascendon digital services platform powers Juke, the new entertainment portal from European electronics retailer Media-Saturn Germany. CSG Ascendon brings video and music together in one service, available anytime and anywhere with a single login across smartphone, tablet, PC/notebook, smart TV or set-top boxes. Juke is available now in Germany, and free Juke apps became available in September in the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store as well as for smart TVs and Google Chromecas

Two-thirds of Germans use digital audio services - study

Digital audio use is more prevalent than expected, with 63.7 percent of Germans between the ages of 14 and 59 using web radios, radio apps or music streaming, according to the "Age of Ears" study by the Facit Media Efficiency market research institute. Only 36.3 percent listen exclusively to FM radio and traditional recordings. Media-Saturn launches new entertainment portal Juke

The Media-Saturn Group announced that it will to expand its digital business by launching the entertainment portal Juke in Germany. The launch of Juke will allow the retailer to provide a comprehensive digital offering in the future. Media-Saturn is now bundling a whole world of entertainment on a single platform under the Juke brand, which previously comprised only the music streaming service launched in 2011.

Media-Saturn launches prepaid plans with O2

O2 Germany has launched a mobile service in cooperation with electronics retailers Media Markt and Saturn. After the introduction of a post-paid tariff in October, two prepaid tariffs became available on 27 November under the Media Markt and Saturn brands using the O2 network. The basic starter kit for EUR 9.99 comes with EUR 10 of credit. The rate is EUR 0.09 per minute or SMS to all networks and EUR 0.24 per 1 MB, at up to 7.2 Mbps.
