Cuban DTT coverage tops 75%, including new HD channels

Cuba has extended digital terrestrial television (DTT) coverage to 76.2 percent of the island following the installation of 63 new transmitters over the past 3 months, reports local portal Cuba Debate, citing Radiocuba technical director Carlos Arencibia Garcia. The expansion includes the installation of a new header that has enabled the launch of two new HD channels dubbed 'HD3' and 'HD4', available in 45 percent of the country, said the executive.
