CWC revenues up 4% in fiscal H1, hits 4 mln customers

Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC) reported revenues up 4 percent to USD 1.2 billion in the first half of its 2015/16 fiscal year ending 30 September, boosted by the performance of its Caribbean units, where EBITDA rose 22 percent. Overall group EBITDA rose 4 percent to USD 427 million, with second quarter EBITDA increasing 11 percent year on year. The company, which acquired Columbus International on 31 March, said integration was progressing well and lifted its previous USD 85 million cost synergy expectation to USD 125 million.
