Cybersecurity firm FireEye tops guidance as Q2 revenues rise 6%

Wednesday 2 August 2017 | 09:51 CET | News
Cybersecurity company FireEye reported revenues of USD 185.5 million in the second quarter, a 6 percent year on year rise and well above its own forecast of USD 173-179 million, helped by a shift to a subscription and service-based model. Billings reached USD 172.0 million, down 12 percent from the year before, but at the top end of its guidance. Gross margin rose to 64 percent from 61 percent the year earlier while the company's net loss attributable to shareholders nearly halved to USD 70.7 million, or USD 0.40 per share, from a loss of USD 0.86 per share in Q2 2016.
