
Cyfrowy Polsat launches PolsatNet LTE service

Polish operator Cyfrowy Polsat has launched the PolsatNet wireless broadband service based on its HSPA+/LTE network. Monthly subscriptions range from PLN 29 for 3GB to PLN 99 for 25GB, with download speeds up to 100Mbps. Subscribers can access the service from 500 base stations built by the operators Mobyland and Centernet. Cyfrowy Polsat offers the Huawei E398 modem supporting both HSPA and LTE from PLN 1 with subscription agreements, as well as a range of other ZTE and Huawei USB modems and routers for HSPA access. The company has already been testing the LTE service for several months with a small group of customers and is now rolling out the service to the general public. Customers can test the service free for seven days. Polsat also offers a special offer for students, of 5GB for PLN 50 per month on a 12- or 24-month contract, plus 50GB free from midnight to 08.00hrs.
