Czech regulator CTU considers retail mobile market regulation due to high prices

Wednesday 11 April 2018 | 10:06 CET | News
Czech regulator CTU is considering regulating the retail mobile market due to high prices applied by the operators, T-Mobile Czech Republic, O2 Czech Republic and Vodafone Czech Republic, reported Mobilmania.cz. According to CTU, mobile competitors do not compete with each other on the wholesale market, so it plans to take steps towards regulation of the retail market. However, CTU indicated that it may refrain from regulation if the operators lower the retail prices themselves.
