Danish 100 Mbps fixed broadband reaches 11% share in 2015

Thursday 16 June 2016 | 12:05 CET | News
The Danish Energy Authority said the number of fixed broadband subscriptions last year offering downloads at a minimum of 100 Mbps rose to 263,000 or just under 11 percent, from 75,000 or 3 percent a year earlier. In its report 'Telestatistics – Second Half of 2015', it said nearly half of all fixed broadband services offered uploads at a minimum of 10 Mbps, up 70 percent since 2014. Nearly 45 percent of all the 2.4 million fixed broadband lines in Denmark offered uploads at that speed on 30 December 2015.
