Danish body warns of UK data insecurity after Brexit, stresses that UK can unilaterally still choose to stay in EU

The UK will become an insecure third country in the case of a hard Brexit, warned the Danish Data Protection Authority. If the UK leaves the European Union without reaching an agreement with the bloc on the terms of its departure, this could have implications for the security of sending personal details there, the authority said. With little over a month before the UK is due to leave the EU, there remains no deal in sight.
