Danish govt plans law within year to exclude equipment from certain countries

Tuesday 9 June 2020 | 12:08 CET | News
Danish Defence Minister Trine Bramsen has made it clear that the government wishes to be able to exclude 5G suppliers from countries that are not allies of Denmark, according to Danish news portal IT Watch. This follows a declaration that telecommunications equipment counts as critical infrastructure, making the choice of 5G provider a matter of security policy. She would not be drawn to comment specifially on Huawei.
