Danish govt puts NemID contract out to tender in 2017

The Danish Digitisation Authority said it will put the contract to run the NemID universal log-in service out to tender in 2017. The aim is to ensure the existing system is secure, stable and safe until the next generation version is up and running. The authority is currently working with the financial services sector to ensure a modern digital identification and electronic signature system can replace the current one.
