Danish govt says state broadband subsidies too modest to affect market investment negatively

The Danish Energy Authority said its assessment has concluded that the national broadband subsidy is a useful tool in achieving the goal of universal broadband provision, for both residential and corporate users. It said the DKK 100 million or so annual subsidy is so modest in comparison with total sector investment that it does not affect spending in a negative way.
