Danish govt sets out points model for broadband subsidy allocations

Friday 18 May 2018 | 13:34 CET | News
The Danish Energy Authority has set out the points model for awarding broadband subsidies. Following the cross-party telecoms policy agreement, the subsidy kitty has been expanded from DKK 40 million to DKK 100 million for 2018. Subsidies will be targeted at areas with access to service with a maximum download speed of 10 Mbps and/or a maximum upload speed of 2 Mbps, where no broadband provider is planning to supply such service within three years.
