Danish govt suspends use of mobile location data in criminal cases

The Danish Justice Ministry has suspended the use of mobile telecoms location data as evidence in criminal cases for two months, according to a report on broadcaster DR's news website. This follows information from the national police indicating serious shortcomings in teledata. Such data cannot be used as evidence for sentencing or for taking suspects into custody, said the ministry.
