Danish telecoms sector sets out 12 cyber-security initiatives as part of broader national scheme

The Danish government has announced strategies to tackle cyber-attacks in six essential sectors, namely health, finance, transport, maritime activities, energy and telecoms. This is because the most recent threat assessment from the Danish Centre for Cyber Security describes the threat of cyber-espionage and cybercrime as "very high". The telecoms sector has agreed on twelve initiatives under its own strategy.
