Datang partners Infrabel to develop 4G network

Chinese company Datang has signed a letter of intent with the Belgian rail infrastructure company Infrabel to look at developing a commercial 4G network in Belgium, writes Datanews. Datang already holds a 4G spectrum licence in Belgium. The companies are expected to take a year to develop the project, with the financial, technical and commercial details of the roll-out and exploitation of the TD-LTE network decided by April 2015. The Chinese premier's recent visit to Belgium helped facilitate the agreement.
