De Ronde Venen plans fibre agreement with CIF

The Dutch municipality of De Ronde Venen approved in November a covenant with the operator CIF on the roll-out of FTTH in its outlying areas. While the agreement was expected to be signed in mid-January, this has been delayed by CIF, which is in the process of re-evaluating its roll-out plans for the whole country. It's unclear whether the roll-out in De Ronde Venen will go ahead this year. Around 350 km of fibre is required for the project.
