Denmark counts 87% of homes with access to 100 Mbps

The share of Danish homes and businesses with access to broadband at 100 Mbps rose to 84 percent at the end of 2015, up 1 percent point from 2014, according to a report from energy agency Energistyrelsens. The share with upload speeds of at least 30 Mbps rose more, to 83 percent from 64 percent in 2014, thanks mainly to cable network upgrades. On the residential market alone, 87 percent of homes can receive at least 100 Mbps download and 86 percent at least 30 Mbps upload. Almost all (98%) of Danish homes and businesses have access to basic broadband of at least 2 Mbps download, as well as 77
