DeTe eliminates Brandenburg 'white spot' with LTE stations

Thursday 12 July 2018 | 13:37 CET | News
Deutsche Telekom said it has closed one of the most famous mobile "white spots" in Germany with the activation of two new LTE mobile sites in Brandenburg. Residents of the town of Klessen-Goerne roughly 60 kilometres northwest of Berlin in the state of Brandenburg now have access to high-speed mobile internet. Telekom said the project is another step towards its goal of delivering LTE mobile coverage to 95 percent of the German population by the end of the year and gradually eliminating white spots in mobile coverage across the country.
