DeTe, Huawei, car makers test LTE-V connected cars

Deutsche Telekom is working with Huawei, Audi, Toyota and other car makers to test LTE-Vehicular (LTE-V) connected vehicle technology. They are conducting technical field trials on a section of the 'digital A9 motorway test bed' near Ingolstadt in Germany. LTE-V could be used to support road safety applications and traffic control services as well as the emerging automated driving market.
