DeTe looking for solutions at OTE - report

Deutsche Telekom is trying to stop the obligated acquisition of more shares in former Greek incumbent OTE, as the Greek government is planning to executed to sell a stake of more than 10 percent to the operator, according to the Financial Times Deutschland. When Deutsche Telekom acquired its 30 stake in OTE in 2008, one of the conditions was that the Greek government that still owns 20 percent of the Greek operator could exercise a put option for its stake with DeTe obligated to acquire the stake.
