DeTe to make Hamburg Germany's first vectoring city

Thursday 21 April 2016 | 17:16 CET | News
Deutsche Telekom plans to make Hamburg the first German city to benefit from faster broadband speeds over vectoring. The company plans to roll out the VDSL services offering speeds up to 100/40 Mbps from this autumn, upgrading around 8,000 exchanges in the city. Customers can benefit from the top speed if they are within 700m of the exchange. More cities will receive the upgrade in 2017. The news was first spotted by Teltarif.de in the Telekom customer forum.
