Deutsche Bahn plans fibre unit, One Fiber seeks partnership

German national railway company Deutsche Bahn plans to set up the subsidiary Broadband Gmbh, a further step in an effort to deploy fibre alongside its rail network, Handelsblatt reports. The operator One Fiber Interconnect Germany has proposed cooperating on the network expansion.
